Check the account and page first
Use Roblox.com/redeem in a web browser and confirm the username before trying again. The standard mobile and console apps are not the normal redemption location, so an absent Redeem button there does not mean the card is invalid.
- Close unofficial code-checking pages.
- Open Roblox.com/redeem directly in a browser.
- Verify the signed-in username.
- Enter the PIN once and record the exact error message.
- Check Available Credit before making repeated attempts.
Test look-alike characters
Printed PINs can make letters and numbers look alike. Roblox specifically recommends trying common substitutions when a code is rejected.

- 1 and capital I
- 2 and Z
- 5 and S
- 6 and G or Q
- 8 and B
Separate card errors from delivery issues
A code bought through an external promotion may need help from the retailer that issued it. Digital cards purchased through Roblox's gift-card shop are fulfilled by CashStar, and Roblox directs purchase questions to that partner's support form.
If redemption succeeded but no value appears, check the redemption page and Billing Settings in a browser. Credit is not shown on every Roblox page and cannot be spent in Roblox apps.
Prepare an official support request
If the card still fails, contact Roblox through its official support form. Roblox asks for purchase and card evidence so the team can trace the transaction.
- Roblox username and country of residence
- Purchase date, amount, retailer, and city
- Gift Card PIN and serial number
- Receipt and clear front-and-back card images
- A screenshot of the exact redemption error
- Send sensitive details only through the official Roblox support flow
