Use the official redemption page

Roblox directs most users to redeem gift cards in a web browser at Roblox.com/redeem. Check the username before entering the PIN because the resulting value is attached to the account that is signed in.

  1. Open Roblox.com/redeem in a web browser.
  2. Sign in to the Roblox account that should receive the value.
  3. Enter the gift card code in the text box.
  4. Select Redeem once.
  5. Wait for the confirmation message, then check the available Credit or granted item.

Know the device limitation

The standard Roblox mobile app and console apps do not provide the normal gift-card redemption flow. Roblox says to use a browser instead. Samsung Galaxy users may also see a Redeem tile in the Samsung Roblox app under More.

  • Phone or tablet: open a browser and visit the official redemption page.
  • Console: use a browser on another device while signed into the same Roblox account.
  • Samsung Galaxy app: More, Redeem, enter code, then wait for confirmation.

Confirm what was added

A successful message is the first check. Gift Card Credit can be viewed on the redemption or billing page, while a virtual item may need to be checked in inventory. Some card types are redeemable for Robux instead of Roblox Credit.

  • Keep the card and receipt until the value is visible on the intended account.
  • Do not paste the PIN into chat, email, or an unofficial code checker.
